Additions:

  • adding shooting mechanics to the movement script, allowing for melee enemies and ranged enemies with custom damage and shoot rates.

Changes:

  • changed the enemy spawner to allow for wave spawning of enemies and for me to choose what enemy will spawn at what time.
  • changed enemy pooler to allow for the pooling of all of the enemies.

Removed features / Replaced features:

Thoughts:

this is the first rendition of the enemy spawning finished it all works and all of the enemy types have been made, but in the future if I find the time I would like to expand this system to make it a lot better as currently it is very basic but works. i think next i am going to work a bit on the looks of the game again and am going to try to add some particle effects to the game to make it feel a bit nicer to play.
