Additions:

  • Shooting manager system that will allow me to make an unlimited amount of weapons and dynamically apply them which will be needed for the game later in the line when I make the equipping system, for when you get new items when you level up.
  • Pistol Weapon, which is a player controlled weapon that will shoot when left mouse is pressed
  • Shotgun weapon, again player controlled 
  • Orbs Weapon, will spawn 4 orbs that orbit the player and cause damage when they hit an enemy, when they are all destroyed there will be a cooldown then they will spawn again
  • Drone Weapon, this will be placed to the right of the player and will shoot at the closest enemy
  • Dummy enemy so I can test attacking better

Thoughts:

currently none of the weapons I have added look very good I need to add particle effect for when they are shot and when they collided and still need to create sprites for all of them, but I am going to do this later down the line as well as this there are also some visual issues with the orbs as they are moved to the correct position which is not great, but overall I am happy with the progress so far and like the weapons I have created thus far.
